A wonderful Friday!

And why is it wonderful? Because I'm not in school today! Even tho it's very cool and drizzly, I'm home and that's good. I had a headache this morning and told them I wasn't coming in. Happily, I'm better now! ;) It feels so good to do things that I know have been needing doing for so long, such as sweeping the basement and cleaning the cold air intake grill on the furnace. Laundry is also on the list. Sunday we will have the Why Catholic? group here, and so I'm also thinking about that. I have the cleaning girl here today. It's still hard to get used to that, but I'm working on it.
I just finished Casandra Danz's second book, Mrs. Greenthumbs Plows Ahead. I really love her writing. What a bummer that she died!! I was so looking forward to reading more by her. She ended her book with talking about gardens never being finished and when "the fat lady sings" and why she was a happy woman. A little bit too prophetic. Maybe she knew she was ill...?
